The first ever Messiah Sing-Along in Lake Almanor!

282 years ago, to the day, April 13, 1742, the first performance of Handel's Oratorio, The Messiah, took place in Dublin.

Don't miss this opportunity to sing some of the best known pieces from the Messiah right here in the Lake Almanor Basin!

Music and lyrics are provided—Come sing together some of the greatest music ever written!

The music we'll be singing is some of the best known of Handel's Messiah, along with some solo work to listen to. We'll be accompanied by a small ensemble, including organ, strings, brass and woodwinds. Please see the spotify playlist below to listen and practice!
